the challenge
build a scalable backend system for src indonesia capable of handling product management, store operations, user authentication, and business transactions. the platform needed to provide secure apis, reliable data consistency, and high performance while supporting future feature expansion.
technical implementation
developed the backend using laravel with postgresql as the primary database. implemented restful apis, role-based authentication, database optimization, background job processing, and secure integration with third-party services. the architecture was designed to be modular, maintainable, and ready for horizontal scaling.
